News bulletin: Field test prototypes examined after gales – May 2007

After six months of field testing and several gales (which were so extreme that they blew down the chimney pot off a neighbouring house) the two turbines were removed so that they could be checked for damage and wear and tear.

Good news: neither of the wind turbines had suffered any damage in the high winds and were not showing any signs of wear and tear.

News bulletin: Worldwide patent is applied for – May 2007

Luethi Enterprises Limited has applied for a worldwide patent to protect the unique design of our turbine and regulating mechanism. The UK patent was awarded in 2006.

News bulletin: Wind tunnel testing completed by Kingston University London – April 2007

After beginning the wind tunnel tests in October 2006, these are now completed.
